I am personally a fan of the American Express Credit Card. I earn points based on my spending, which I can use in hotels, flights, car rentals, and gift cards. I&#8217;ll explain how to travel in style without breaking the bank.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0I recommend taking a picture of your Identification (ID) and Passport.<\/li>\n<li>International calls or using wifi data (options)\n<ol>\n<li>Contact your phone provider to view international plans<\/li>\n<li>If you choose not to purchase an international plan for making calls or using data\n<ul>\n<li>use free apps such as WhatsApp and Tango (turn your phone to airplane mode and make sure your phone is on wi-calling)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Buy an international sim card<\/li>\n<li>Purchase a wi-fi router to make sure you are always connected<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Download currency converter app to assist with currency exchange rates.<\/li>\n<li>Download Google translates to help with language barriers.<\/li>\n<li>Use public transportation\/ taxi, Uber or Lyft if it is available in the country to keep cost down.<\/li>\n<li>When searching for a place to stay, try <a href=\"http:\/\/www.airbnb.com\/c\/kgg12\">Airbnb<\/a> to keep your cost down (Once you made your travel plans please verify with hotel or airbnb to confirm your reservations and notify them of your arrival time)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>International Summer Travel Tip: Please purchase your museum tickets in advance especially when traveling during peak seasons. (many places will be sold out on arrival)<\/p>\n<p>Tour Tips: I am a huge fan of hop on hop off tours. It is the most economical way to view the city, especially when you are visiting a destination for a short period.
