It was the year 2010 and after watching the movie “Bugsy,” I knew I would be adding this city to my bucket list. I was obsessed with the vision of now what we know as Las Vegas.
Viva Las Vegas, known primarily for its gambling, shopping, fine dining, entertainment, trade shows and nightlife. I’ve been to Las Vegas, Nevada thousands of times for work and personal. Here are few of my favorite things to do when I visit.
- The Seven Magic Mountains located about 25 minutes from the strip. The artwork is a must see, designed by Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone’s. Unfortunately, the installation will only remain on view through the end of 2018.
- Big Apple Coaster is the name of the roller coaster at the New York-New York Hotel and Casino (one of my favorite epic experiences)
- Watching the local talent on the strip
- While at the New York, New York Hotel stop by the HERSHEY’S CHOCOLATE WORLD.
- Take a walk on the strip and stop by the Bellagio hotel to see the water show.
- Madame Tussauds wax museum
- Check out a show: Zumanity, Cirque du Solei, or a concert.
- Visit old Las Vegas.
- Day parties are insane, and the nightlife never seems to disappoint.
- Business ventures: If you are looking to expand your business, try to find a tradeshow in your field. This will be the perfect opportunity to attend on-site events, seminars, and to network with companies to assist with your business needs.
I feel as though Las Vegas is one of those places that never gets old to me. Although many tourist visit for the nightlife and gambling. Vegas is more than that, it’s about not letting opportunities pass you by, meeting random people, and living you best life to the fullest.
Tips: I always rent a car because I find it more economical compared to taking taxis or uber. I can venture off outside of the strip and explore the city.
Shopping places on the strip: Cesar Palace Fashion Forum, Fashion District, and the Miracle Shops at Planet Hollywood.
Favorite Hotels to stay: Luxor, MGM, Aria, Planet Hollywood, Hard Rock
Favorite places to Eat: Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles, Azuza Hookah Lounge & Restaurant, Sugar Factory (located at fashion district)
Funny Story: Every time I visit there is always some unbelievable story that actually happened. lol
